How to edit photos with AI

1

Choose the photo you want to edit

Add a base image. To reference a color, object, or style, add reference images within the limit of your selected model.

2

Describe what to change and keep

For example, “Remove the street sign in the background, keeping the person and composition.” Choose an aspect ratio, then generate.

3

Preview and download the result

Download the version you like. To keep refining, use the result as a new base image and continue editing from that version.

Remove passersby and clutter with a few words

Is your travel photo crowded with tourists, or is there someone or something unwanted in the background? Just type “Remove the people in the back” and AI removes them and redraws that part of the background as instructed, with no manual selection or brushing.

Change hairstyles, expressions, and other portrait details

Frequently asked questions

Upload an image and describe your changes in words. AI creates an edited image from your instructions, so you do not need to learn layers or brushes first. Manual selection masks and multilayer editing are not currently available.

Describe it in words: name the object and location you want to change, along with anything you want to keep. AI uses your description as the basis for the edit, with no manual selection needed.

Start with the object, the change and what to keep. For example: “Make the mug blue, keeping its shape and the background.” You do not need technical terms.

When you match the base image, its size is used if the selected model supports it. Otherwise, the output is matched to the closest size the model supports, based on the base image’s proportions. The base image and estimated output dimensions appear before you generate.

Credits vary with your model and settings. Reference image limits appear in the upload area for the current model. Multiple references guide one creation; they do not mean batch editing.
